HIGH TATRAS
The highest and steepest slope is situated in the area of the High Tatras – Tatranská Lomnica. Great skiing can be enjoyed at Lomnické sedlo, and the new broad pistes from Skalnaté pleso to Tatranská Lomnica covered with good deal of snow thanks to the new snowing system, and a new 4-seated chair lift, guarantee the best skiing trip at the sunny side of the High Tatras. Free ride skiers find skiing at Lomnické sedlo attractive as well.
The new, extended skiing centre has twice increased the transport capacity and the enhanced skiing slopes with snow guarantee can fulfill the expectations of most exacting skiers.
This is the only place where the perfect feeling of skiing in the area with the highest difference in level in Central Europe can be experienced. The 1300 m difference in level and snow guarantee ensure wonderful experience of the first-class carving 6.5 km long slope with the width of up to 60 m.
Skiing down the illuminated slope is available in Tatranská Lomnica at the Jamy centre.
You will experience perfect winter with friends or family on skis and sledges in Starý Smokovec. Take a ride to Hrebienok hill by the ground cableway. The youngest skiers will be looked after by professional instructors of the Maxiland.
The Jakubkova lúka centre with an easy downhill track is suitable for beginners or for fun ski races.
The sledge ride from Hrebienok hill to Starý Smokovec down the illuminated 2.6 km long sledging track provides an unforgettable experience.
