From 13.9.2021, there are new rules regarding entering facilities based on the currently valid COVID traffic light system in Slovakia.


How are cableways and facilities going to work from Monday 16.8.2021?


Tatranská Lomnica mountain resort

Dear clients, to use our cable cars, please show your certificate after full COVID-19 vaccination.* Thank you for your understanding.

*Fully vaccinated individuals are individuals who were vaccinated with the 2nd dose of a 2-dose vaccine at least 14 days ago, with a 1-dose vaccine at least 21 days ago or with any vaccine dose at least 14 days ago if they overcame the COVID-19 disease during the past 180 days. This condition does not apply to children aged 0-12 years. (valid from 13.9.2021)

The above mentioned documents are going to be required from clients from 13.9.2021, which is based on the currently valid COVID traffic light system approved by the government of the Slovak Republic. Clients in the Tatranská Lomnica mountain resort will be asked to show the above mentioned documents before buying their cable car tickets at ticket offices and also before boarding cable cars. 
To enter restaurants in Skalnaté pleso and on Mt Lomnický štít, negative tests or vaccination certificates will be required based on the terms above. 

To enter the Humno restaurant in Tatranská Lomnica, negative tests or vaccination certificates will be required based on the terms above. The disco will be available only for fully vaccinated individuals. 


Before boarding the cable car in the Tatranská Lomnica resort, every passenger has to present their negative antigen test taken no more than 48 hours before or their negative PCR test taken no more than 72 hours before or their certificate after full COVID-19 vaccination or their certificate of COVID-19 recovery no more than 180 days ago. This does not apply to children aged 0-12 years. (valit until 12.9.2021)


Starý Smokovec mountain resort

 

Before boarding the funicular between Starý Smokovec and Hrebienok, vaccination certificates, negative tests and COVID-19 recovery certificates will not be required. The funicular is opened in the same mode as before and clients can use its services without limits. 

To enter the Hrebienok restaurant, every client has to present their negative antigen test taken no more than 48 hours before or their negative PCR test taken no more than 72 hours before or their certificate after full COVID-19 vaccination or their certificate of COVID-19 recovery no more than 180 days ago.  


Štrbské Pleso mountain resort

 

Before boarding the chairlift that operates to Mt Solisko, every passenger has to present their negative antigen test taken no more than 48 hours before or their negative PCR test taken no more than 72 hours before or their certificate after full COVID-19 vaccination or their certificate of COVID-19 recovery no more than 180 days ago. This does not apply to children aged 0-12 years.

Fully vaccinated individuals are individuals who were vaccinated with the 2nd dose of a 2-dose vaccine at least 14 days ago, or with a 1-dose vaccine at least 21 days ago, or with any vaccine dose at least 14 days ago if they overcame the COVID-19 disease during the past 180 days. 

The above mentioned documents are going to be required from clients from 16.8.2021, which is based on the currently valid COVID traffic light system approved by the government of the Slovak Republic. Clients in the Štrbské Pleso mountain resort will be asked to show the above mentioned documents before buying their chairlift tickets at ticket offices and also before boarding the chairlift.

To enter the Bivac Pizza restaurant on Mt Solisko, every client has to present their negative antigen test taken no more than 48 hours before or their negative PCR test taken no more than 72 hours before or their certificate after full COVID-19 vaccination or their certificate of COVID-19 recovery no more than 180 days ago.


Basic measures before entering facilities

- In facilities such as client centres, information centres, ticket offices and Tatry Motion shops, only 1 person per 15m2 will be allowed.
- The facilities can be entered only by individuals with noses and mouths covered by face masks or scarves. 
- Please keep a 2-metre-distance from each other. 
- Minimise contact and hand shaking. 
- Disinfect your hands before entering individual facilities. 
- Payment by card is preferred. 
- Please follow the instructions of the staff. 


Explanatory notes

Fully vaccinated individuals are individuals who:
a) were vaccinated with the 2nd dose of a 2-dose COVID-19 vaccine at least 14 days ago,
b) were vaccinated with a 1-dose COVID-19 vaccine at least 21 days ago,
c) were vaccinated with any vaccine dose at least 14 days ago if they overcame the COVID-19 disease during the past 180 days,
d) kids aged 0-12 years.


(2) Vaccinated, tested or COVID-19 recovered individuals (hereinafter referred to as “VTR-mode individuals”) are individuals who:
a) have been fully vaccinated,
b) can present their negative RT-PCR or LAMP COVID-19 test taken no more than 72 hours before or their negative antigen COVID-19 test taken no more than 48 hours before, 
c) overcame the COVID-19 disease no more than 180 days ago.



Every facility operator is entitled to ask individuals who are entering their facility interior and exterior to present the respective documents that prove any of the conditions specified in Section 1 or 2 Decree 240 of the Public Health Authority of the Slovak Republic and every operator is entitled to see the above mentioned documents.
