Non-traditional Tatra festival of bears

Vysoké Tatry • Starý Smokovec • Hrebienok

31.7. - 3.8. (Wednesday-Saturday) is the date of the 12th bear festival in Hrebienok. But this year, the BEAR DAYS will be brand NEW!

Look forward to 4 days of a great bear atmosphere and fun for all age groups. And what´s NEW about the festival this year? Brand new attractions, new competitions and games, a lot of educational activities and workshops where everybody can learn how to make items of wood, plastic or metal.

The festival will be held on a new and larger area and offer two stage programmes with various theatre plays, music performances, adventurous-environmental and mainly amusing projects. Daniel Hevier, a well-known writer, poet and storyteller will tell the kids about the secrets of reading, books and his work. The environmental-educational and amusing programme on stage includes groups such as Plasťáci, Fidlikanti, SĽUK, and Funny Fellows.

The area of Hrebienok will be full of life more than before. Try new attractions and games of our partner galleries: Poliankovo, Tricklandia and Dobrá hračka (Good Toy), whose projects are very popular in the Tatras. The new interactive gallery of light called Kvantarium will be presented too.
