From 2.4.2024, the Tatra Gallery of Ice Masters is CLOSED after the 2023/24 winter season.
The beauty of ice has found its home – Hrebienok in the High Tatras, thanks to the 10th edition of the traditional TATRY ICE MASTER event.
Ice sculptors from ten countries were breathing life into 50 tonnes of ice and changing them into 35 unique ice sculptures for two days.
They were creating the masterpieces based on various motifs and themes.
The ice sculptures are now illuminated after dark to emphasise their design and beauty. One group is displayed next to the funicular station building, another one can be admired under the second “dome” cover next to the Tatra Temple of Ice. The sculptures under the cover – in the so-called Gallery of Ice Masters will be exhibited until the end of the winter season or until the end of April 2024. The sculptures in the open air will be there until they melt.
